چکیده

We consider the Comptonization of an isotropic radiation field by a thermal distribution of electrons with non-vanishing bulk velocity. We include all relativistic effects, including induced scattering and electron recoil, in the derivation of a kinetic equation which is correct to O(θ e , βθ 2 e , β 2θe), where β is the bulk velocity (in units of c) and θe is the ratio of the electron temperature to mass. The result given here manifestly conserves photon number, and easily yields the energy transfer rate between the radiation and electrons. We also confirm recent calculations of the relativistic corrections to the thermal and kinematic SunyaevZel’dovich effect. Axial buckling analysis of an isotropic cylindrical shell using the meshless local Petrov-Galerkin method

In this paper the meshless local Petrov-Galerkin (MLPG) method is implemented to study the buckling of isotropic cylindrical shells under axial load. Displacement field equations, based on Donnell and first order shear deformation theory, are taken into consideration. The set of governing equations of motion are numerically solved by the MLPG method in which according to a semi-inverse method, ...

Efficient Higher-Order Shear Deformation Theories for Instability Analysis of Plates Carrying a Mass Moving on an Elliptical Path

The dynamic performance of structures under traveling loads should be exactly analyzed to have a safe and reasonable structural design. Different higher-order shear deformation theories are proposed in this paper to analyze the dynamic stability of thick elastic plates carrying a moving mass. The displacement fields of different theories are chosen based upon variations along the thickness as c...

Cyclo - Synchrotron Emission and Comptonization in Optically Thin Hot Accretion Flows

Soft cyclo-synchrotron photons produced by thermal electrons moving in a magnetic eld can be subsequently Comptonized to produce hard X-ray and -ray emission. An accurate determination of the amount of soft cyclo-synchrotron photons produced from such plasmas is clearly necessary. We present the complete solution to the cyclo-synchrotron problem. We calculate the emission produced by an isotrop...

A Generalized Thermo-Elastic Diffusion Problem in a Functionally Graded Rotating Media Using Fractional Order Theory

A generalized thermo-elastic diffusion problem in a functionally graded isotropic, unbounded, rotating elastic medium due to a periodically varying heat source in the context of fractional order theory is considered in our present work. The governing equations of the theory for a functionally graded material with GNIII model are established. Analytical solution of the problem is derived in Lapl...
